Ed Gillis

Former CFO, Veritas, Parametric Technology & Lotus

Ed Gillis has served on our board of directors since January 2007. From July 2005 to December 2005, Ed served as senior vice president of administration and integration of Symantec Corporation, a provider of infrastructure software. From 2002 to 2005, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Veritas Software Corporation, a provider of software to enable utility computing. From 1995 to 2002, Ed was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Parametric Technology Corporation, a supplier of mechanical design and manufacturing software. He was a former partner at Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. and a certified public accountant. Ed also serves as a member of the board of directors of Endeca Technologies, Inc., EqualLogic and Teradyne, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University, a Masters in International Relations from the University of Southern California, a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
