Lexington, MA, February 20, 2007—BladeLogic, Inc., a leading provider of next-generation data center automation software, today announced that General Dynamics, a leading supplier of sophisticated defense systems to the United States and its allies, has selected portions of BladeLogic’s award-winning suite of data center automation solutions to ensure continuous compliance to regulatory and operational polices across all of its data center environments.

General Dynamics will implement BladeLogic’s Discovery and Compliance modules across all of its business units to ensure they fully comply with established corporate security policies based on standards from the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and regulatory policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
