CAPGEMINI SELECTS BLADELOGIC AS THE DATA CENTER AUTOMATION SOLUTION FOR ITS OUTSOURCING PRACTICE
Leading Technology Consulting and Outsourcing Services Company to Deploy BladeLogic in its own Data Centers and Become a Strategic Distribution Partner for BladeLogic
Waltham, MA, October 25, 2004—BladeLogic, Inc., the leading provider of data center automation software, today announced that it has reached an agreement with Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing services, to deliver comprehensive data center automation solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Capgemini will deploy BladeLogic Operations Manager as the data center automation platform for both hosted and non-hosted clients of Capgemini’s IT Outsourcing services. In addition, Capgemini will become a strategic reseller of BladeLogic Operations Manager, which together with its own planning and integration services will enable the solution to be cost effectively implemented. Capgemini will also make available data center operations management using BladeLogic’s award winning software to its non-hosted clients.
