The Carphone Warehouse is implementing BladeLogic to replace complex and manually-intensive server and application management processes. BladeLogic Operations Manager™, a suite of award-winning data center automation solutions, will enable The Carphone Warehouse to automate a wide range of these processes including the discovery and detailed inventory of server and applications, the provisioning of the OS and the entire software stack, the deployment of application updates, and the continuous compliance of server configurations to corporate policies.

As an example, The Carphone Warehouse will use BladeLogic to execute in-depth audits of servers to reduce server misconfigurations and application inconsistencies, as well as to synchronize development, test, and production environments to facilitate the rapid deployment of new applications and application updates.
