Dev Ittycheria Receives Mass High Tech All-Star Award

Lexington, MA, October 29, 2007—
BladeLogic, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLOG), a leading provider of next-generation data center automation software, today announced that its president and CEO, Dev Ittycheria, has received the 2007 All-Star Award from Mass High Tech, the Journal of New England Technology. Ittycheria was recognized as a leader and innovator in the software industry by the editors of Mass High Tech at an awards ceremony at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston last week.

Now in its 12th year, the Mass High Tech All-Star Awards recognize the leaders in New England’s innovation economy. All-Stars are recognized for their contributions not only to technology in general, but to the broader New England high-tech ecosystem.

“Mass High Tech All Stars are not necessarily those who have excelled by taking the well-worn path. Instead, many are the innovators that think up the new ideas and the movers who decide to make a difference rather than a fortune. Collectively, our honorees are a prime example of the vibrancy and variety of New England’s knowledge economy,” said Douglas Banks, Editor of Mass High Tech. “The All-Star Awards are Mass High Tech’s way of shining a light on the talented people who make this region one of the world’s leading centers of innovation.”

“2007 has been a year of many important milestones for BladeLogic, including the company’s outstanding growth as well as a successful IPO this past July,” said Dev Ittycheria, president and CEO, BladeLogic. “I am very pleased that Mass High Tech has recognized BladeLogic as an innovator and leader in one of the most dynamic and high growth technology segments—data center automation. I proudly accept this award on behalf of all the employees of BladeLogic whose hard work and dedication have directly led to the success of the company.”
