Course Details Schedule
This is an introductory course for anyone who will use BladeLogic. You will review BladeLogic architecture and component functions, set up users and role-based access controls, learn to use the Configuration Manager console to view, manage, control, and enforce configuration changes to servers, utilize built-in and extended system object classes and properties to automate and simplify server configuration management tasks, create and use components to package server content, and manipulate content on remote servers using the Configuration Manager console or a Network Shell session, and you will use the BladeLogic reporting to obtain server inventory information.
Prerequisite – None - BladeLogic Compliance Manager
Course Details Schedule
This course is for anyone who needs to demonstrate compliance with company or government policies. You will use the BladeLogic Configuration Manager console to audit multiple servers and applications for compliance with company or government policies, create Snapshots to store important server assets for use in auditing, analyze servers for patch compliance, add rules to an existing component to enable testing for compliance, create compliance jobs to audit server assets, load and use BladeLogic CIS content, work with compliance exceptions, and use the BladeLogic Reporting Tool to generate audit and compliance related reports.
Prerequisite – BladeLogic Essentials - BladeLogic Configuration Manager

This course is for anyone who needs to manage content on servers. You will use the BladeLogic Configuration Manager console to create BlPackages to deploy content, configuration changes, and applications on remote servers, audit remediation results, create jobs that deploy configuration changes, content, and applications to servers, perform patch management, audit server assets for compliance, learn stack provisioning by installing multiple applications and configuration changes in sequence, study basic logging and debugging of software deployments, utilize the BladeLogic Reporting tool to generate operations-related reports, and write simple Network Shell and BLCLI scripts that will set a property value on a BladeLogic System Object and execute an existing job.
